Glenn gas belt mystery

Western Glenn sector is home to large numbers of high-level gas clouds, but elemental scientists say those clouds don't belong there.

"Just a year ago, there was no sign of these gases in Glenn," said Sha'ha'dem astrogeologist Shenda'o Methryl. "They are not completely natural in origin, though they may be the natural result of other galactic disruptions, like the appearance of the Shears."

Sabine astrogeologist Carmiga does not necessarily agree with this surmise. "We may simply be seeing a cyclical periodic appearance coming back to a time when these gas clouds are present."

InfinitiCorp geological scientist consultant Millie Bates finds the components of these cloud fields to be unique enough to throw both of the mining faction analyses into question. "There is too much Emperion for any natural occurrence, and too little Pagion. I think one of the Ancients may be playing a game with us all, but that's fine with us, as long as there are profits to be made from using these resources for manufacturing."
