The fabled and mysterious Bunyip is nearing its rutting season, during which two Bunyips who love each other very much begin the process by which Bunyip eggs are produced.

Bunyip eggs frequently appear each spring in a number of unpredictable places, including hulks and asteroids.

Demand for seasonal Bunyip eggs also creates intense rivalries among scientists, chefs and others who have developed specialized interests in these rare prizes.

Net-7 has learned that some of the Chavez and Red Dragon debris around the galaxy resulted from intense feuding between these pirate factions over the owership of prize Bunyip egg caches.

Past Bogeril interest in Bunyip eggs has centered around their use in cooking, but the famous waste-nothing technology of these resourceful people leads to some speculation as to whether new interests will appear this season.

Sha'ha'dem philospohers also speculate on some peculiar association between the Bunyips and the Ancients.

These mysterious creatures, once thought merely cute, may find themselves at the center of new controversies.

And when they do, you can read about it her on Net-7 News.
