Derfresser Phlegm is a benign substance, sometimes put to work as a basis for adhesive products, but older Derfresser creatures produce a more toxic version.

This variation, Viscous Derfresser Phlegm, has been known to cause severe allergic reactions to some individuals when exposed to large amounts for long periods of time.

Now a team of researchers have isolated the toxic components in Viscous Derfresser Phlegm and believe there may be some opportunity to combine it with other chemical and biological elements in the creation of useful commercial products, like insect repellants or possibly insecticides.

Sabine researchers have been seen in secret meetings with Bogeril scientists near Phlegm research centers, for purposes this reporter has been unable to determine.

Net-7 will continue to report on these developments as new details emerge.
