Psionics rebel leader P3889 is sending pilots out to attack Mordana targets throughout the galaxy in an attempt to obtain Mordana ab kati, a kind of ceremonial relic prized by the religious sect. According to sources who have assisted P3889, he believes the ab kati were designed to imitate Psionic "focal stones," which are used by the Psionics to commune with each other, and possibly obtain a kind of "enlightenment." Pilots who have attacked the Mordana have reported finding broken focal stones among the wreckage of destroyed Mordana frigates.

The Psionics, who claim to be bound together by their common rituals, have largely shied away from open combat in their quest for freedom from InfinitiCorp. These latest developments indicate a tactical shift for the Psionics, who have not been known in the past to favor open warfare.

"These tactics seem more in line with something the Anseria would do," said one leading InfinitiCorp Merchant Prince, referring to the radical branch of Psionics who have used terrorist tactics against InfinitiCorp targets. "While I certainly understand why the Psis would want revenge on the Mordana, it seems a bit rash to just go out killing people indiscriminately, just for a few ab kati."

The attacks seem to be in response to several poisoning deaths among the Psionics. The attacks have recently been linked to the leader of the Mordana cult, Daniel Malhause. The poison, mercury chloride, seems to have been released in Aganju with the help of Mordana activists acting at Malhause's behest.

"P3889 looked kind of sick to me," said Master Marcella, a Sha'ha'dem Explorer who has assisted the Psionics in the past. "At one point when I was talking with him, he started to choke and looked like he was going to pass out. Honestly, I'm pretty worried that maybe he's been exposed to mercury chloride himself. I'm not exactly sure how killing Mordana will help the Psis get freedom from InfinitiCorp, but I trust P3889's judgment, and I'll do whatever I can to help him."
