der Todesengel and Bogeril Misunderstandings

With the recent announcement of the construction of a Gate to der Todesengel, many will be flocking to Witberg to access this new region of space.

Even more pilots, it seems, will have to reconsider their position on the Bogeril. Shojitsu, a Jenquai Defender in Orion, had this to say about the Bogeril:

"The Bogeril? I never liked them. A waste of stellar real estate, if you ask me, with their backward ways and strange customs. You know what I found on one of their ships once? A harness for tamming scuttlebugs! Can you imagine, tamming those filthy little vermin!? I'll have no part of it.".

Others aren't quite so hostile, and many are begining to realize the error of their ways in so harshly judging these people. I am also guilty of using Bogeril Bugmasters as easy target practice when I needed to test out my new beam cannons. But as I spend more time around these Bogeril, I am realizing that they are a vibrant society that adds something unique to the galaxy. And while some may seek access to der Todesengel for purely economic means, I feel a study of the culture and technology of their sector could greatly benefit all of us, be we Terran, Progen, or Jenquai. In this time of great conflict and loss, let us halt our aggression against these charmingly simple people and concentrate our efforts on winning the War.
