INVERNESS - In a bizarre story, a lone Jenquai explorer reported seeing V'rix mining colorless Tazeron from crystalline asteroids in Inverness.

According to the explorer, he was in the area mining colorless tazeron himself when he heard someone mining nearby. When he turned to see who it was, he was startled to discover that it was a V'rix ship. "I quickly warped away to avoid being blasted, but then I thought I would move back in cloaked to investigate", said the explorer. He watched as the V'rix selectively mined only colorless Tazeron, moved away, and then returned with a friend to mine some more. "After it left, I thought to myself, 'Man, you should have taken pictures!'. I was quick to snap this photo when he returned with his friend.", the explorer continued.

There are many theories as to what the V'rix would want with colorless Tazeron. The most popular? "Maybe they are making Maelstrom keys", said one person I spoke with. If the V'rix are making Maelstrom keys, it might explain why the V'rix forces in the Swooping Eagle sector seem to be pouring out of the Mazzaroth Maelstrom.
