Akeron's gate. The first of the ancient gates found, it is the symbol of an age. Coincidentally, the V'rix have lately been launching attacks from that sector and building up scouting groups in Freya and Jotunheim, amongst others. What is it that made the V'rix so aggressive towards relatively well-protected sectors? In my investigations I have ended up indentifying the source being Akeron's Gate. In an uncharted part of the sector, whilst running from V'rix missiles, a gigantic object had suddenly appeared in my scanners. I have identified it as the 2624FG4D, which modern linguists have translated into 'Eye Of God'. It looks like a web-like structure, and is very well-protected. Further investigation lets me affirm that it is either a V'rix starbase under construction, a V'rix cap ship or a weapon that, we must fear, would mean a negative end of the war? That is but speculation, but before taking it as useless rumor, please observe my scan input I have included at the peril of my life. Contact with it has not yet been succeeded. It seems one would need to infiltrate the V'rix hierarchy to have access to it. Any ships searching it should be well-prepared and have quite a strong hull. It also seems that Akeron's Gate is a main traitor area, since I have received a message indicating so, coming undoubtedly from V'rix sources. I cannot tell any more but I promise that my team is working on it.Meridac
