As I have searched the Galaxy, looking for news worthy of reporting, the biggest story of all has been sitting under my nose the whole time.

Who or what are the DEVS?

I first heard of these beings on the comm channels, where phrases like, "Blame the Devs!" and "I hope the Devs hear this." are constantly being used to explain (or complain about) strange phenomenon. I thought that these people had lost their minds, blaming their misfortune on simple devices that they used. When I asked how devices were responsible for most of the lvl9 ore fields disappearing, I was greeted with responses like "N00B!" and "ROTFL!" These terms were foreign to me, so I asked for clarification. The only legible response was "The Devs control everything in the universe, they give and they take away. Don't mess with the Devs." This piqued my interest in these mythical creatures, so I set out to find a Dev and interview it. For days, I interviewed the leaders of various organizations and even their lackeys, trying to get a lead on where Devs hang out. Aside from a few side jobs, I got nothing for my troubles. Now after much research, I have finally formulated an answer.

I now have evidence of the existence of the Devs. All the major events in the universe, weather it is new ore fields appearing, or even the dread takeover of Primus, are all occurring on a schedule. Think about it, seemingly unrelated events, across the universe happening all at the same instant and then nothing changes for a while. Just when you get used to the changes, WHAM! it happens again. Although it may be hard to conceive the massive amount of power these beings would have to have to accomplish these simultaneous feats; no one can deny the fact that these events are not random. It seems some pilots worship the entities by following the rules in what I assume is the Dev Bible, called "TOS". Even nonbelievers are afraid of violating the TOS. One pilot stated that enforcement of TOS is unpredictable, as some pilots getaway with breaking all the covenants, while some are punished severely for one transgression. In one case the pilot was never seen or heard from again after he angered the Devs with what some said was a TOS violation. Don't bother trying to find this TOS bible, as it is unavailable for sale on the market, or at any vendor at any station in the universe. Another pilot told me you have to read it at "login", but no matter how hard I meditated at Yasarugi, I could not achieve this mystical state, or even find it on a map.
