The siege is nearing the start of it's 5th day with no end in sight as even more bad news for coalition forces comes to light.

The coalition casualty list continues to grow as this reporter/combatant has been pulled off the line due to wounds recieved in combat when I dozed off, slumped over a control panel and broke a nail.

The first cases of what military doctors are referring to as "Freya War Syndrome" have been diagnosed amongst pilots returning from the front, prompting fears of Chavez deployment of biological weapons. Among the symptoms of this disease are extreme drowsiness, lack of energy or motivation and in some cases suicidal tendencies. Asked for his opinion, one pilot responded with "Oh gawd... please... somebody shoot me."

Responding to questions as to why military intelligence seemed to miss the existence of the theorized Chavez "Weapon of Mass Disruption", Earthcorps Admiral Diego Herrera blamed the situation on the Chavez's cunningly ineffectual strategy.

Despite the surprising effectiveness of the Chavez use of paper mache ships against massive dreadnoughts, their salvation may have arrived in an untirely unexpected form. Job offers from their old rivals in organized crime, The Red Dragons, have begun to come in for pilots of the Freya task force. The Dragons apparantly lost control of a Drone Fabrication Plant and the Guarding Drones when they gained sentience and started eating Dragon pilot trainees and hardened veterans alike. Now the Dragons want outside help in bringing it down. It is possible that many of the coalition pilots are drooling at the thought of getting their hands on ship upgrades from the Drones.

In what some are calling a blatant attempt to repair the damage done to the Dragons reputation, Shou Tzu has begun offering a preliminary test for the worthiness of coalition pilots to enter Dragon space. Tzu has been asking pilots to retrieve tribal talismans from the Mordana in Kitiara's Veil. News of this "test" sent a round of laughs, snorts and guffaws through the law enforcement community. "The Mord's have some of the most advanced shields, reactors and weapon systems ever seen, including a missile system that our lab boys have never been able to reverse engineer and Tzu sends these pilots after pagan trinkets?" laughed one Terran official.

Tzu has thus far refused comment.
