Skills: Jenquai Explorer

Prospect
The Prospect skill allows a player to retrieve valuable resources. The player must be at a complete stop and within 500 units of the target resource to activate the prospecting skill.

*Cloaking
The Cloaking skill allows players to completely disappear from sight. Cloaked objects cannot be interacted with unless they can be seen through a skill or effect. This skill is switched on and off rather than instantaneously activated. While the ability is switched on, the player becomes cloaked (after a power-up cycle) and energy is drained over time. Activation of any equipment or skill will immediately switch the skill off and the player will immediately de-cloak. Exception to this rule are Cloaking levels 6 and 7, which will allow warping while cloaked.

Scan
The Scanning skill improves the range and power of the ship's scanners.

Navigate
The Navigate skill effects the efficiency of traveling.

Build Devices
The Build Devices skill allows the character to analyze and manufacture devices. A character can only attempt to analyze or manufacture devices of a tech level equal to or below their current skill level.

Fold Space
Allows the player to teleport short distances out of danger.

Jumpstart
Used to resuscitate other incapacitated players.

Create Wormhole
Allows the Jenquai Explorer to teleport vast distances instantaneously. At higher levels, group members can be transported as well.

Environment Shield
Increases the Jenquai Explorer's damage resistances and reduces the impact of any environmental effects for a short duration.

Shield Leech
This skill allows the Explorer to drain shield energy from a target or group of targets. At lower levels of skill, the energy is drained from a single target. As the Explorer becomes more skilled in Shield Leech, their abilities become more powerful and they are able to convert energy drained from enemy shields into reactor energy or drain multiple targets simultaneously. Eventually, at the highest levels of the ability, the Explorer can drain shield energy from multiple targets and convert that energy to reactor energy for themselves and their groupmates.
