Cargo Hold |
The ability to hold and carry cargo is an important attribute for your ship. As Terrans are the premier traders and merchants, their ships can carry the most cargo.
You can get new items by purchasing them from the Commodities Exchange, by looting them from disabled ships, or by finding them floating in space. An item on a disabled ship or floating in space can be brought into your cargo hold by using your Tractor Beam. To use the Tractor Beam, target the item you want, then use the "hand" icon to engage your Tractor Beam.
In order to free up space in your cargo hold, you can get rid of items by selling them at a Commodities Exchange or by ejecting them. If you eject an item it will be destroyed and you will get a window asking to confirm this option.
